From Chicago
|
|
Using the Expressway:
Take I-94 West. (It turns into Route 41 North.)
After the first stoplight, exit Route 22/Half Day Road going east
(right) until it dead-ends. Turn north (left) on Green Bay
Road. Turn east (right) on Highwood Ave. Turn north
(left) on Waukegan Ave. (Waukegan Avenue merges with
Sheridan Rd.) Attic Playhouse is on the west side of the road after
the first stop sign; above "The Curry Hut" restaurant.

Using the Tollway:
Take I-294 North (to Milwaukee). Exit Route 22/Half Day Road going
east (right) until it dead-ends. (You will cross over Route 43/
Waukegan Road and Route 41/ Eden's Expressway). Turn north (left) on
Green Bay Road. Turn east (right) on Highwood Ave. Turn
north (left) on Waukegan Ave. (Waukegan Avenue merges
with Sheridan Rd.) Attic Playhouse is on the west side of the road
after the first stop sign; above "The Curry Hut"

Using the Train:
Take the Metra (Union Pacific North) Train line from Chicago to
Kenosha. Exit the Highwood Train Station. Attic
Playhouse is on the east side of the train tracks, within the
Highwood Train Station parking lot; above "The Curry Hut"
restaurant. 410 Sheridan Road; Highwood, IL 60040. (Please
make sure that "Highwood" is a stop for the time you wish
to travel as some express routes do not make this stop) Click

Using Side Roads:
Attic Playhouse can be accessed by taking Sheridan Road all the way
north from Chicago. It is mostly a 2-lane road with many
twists and turns, and may be a slow ride. Attic Playhouse may
be accessed faster by taking Green Bay road, which runs parallel to
Sheridan Road. From Green Bay road: Turn east (right) on
Highwood Ave. Turn north (left) on Waukegan Ave.
(Waukegan Avenue merges with Sheridan Rd.) Attic Playhouse is on the
west side of the road after the first stop sign; above "The
Curry Hut" restaurant. 410 Sheridan Road; Highwood, IL

From the
North:
Please follow the above instructions going south on any of the above
routes, and exiting on Route 22/ Half Day road going east (left) as
noted.

Parking:
Theatre patrons may park anywhere within our building's
parking lot or in the surrounding public parking lot for the train
station (in numbered parking spaces). The Highwood Train
Station parking lot (located behind the theatre) and all street
parking is free after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
Do not park in any private lots (ex: Nite 'N Gale, Buffo's,
Walgreen's) as your car may be towed. Street parking is
most available along Sheridan Road or Lakeview (1/2
block East of Sheridan). Cars must be moved by 2 a.m.
